The Collision and Its Aftermath
KOTA TINGGI: A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a four-vehicle crash at Felda Penggeli on Friday morning, Jan 3. The collision involved two Perodua Alza cars, a Proton Saga, and a Yamaha NVX motorcycle, occurring at 7:47 am.
Firefighters Quickly Arrived on Scene
Bakhtiar Selamat, the Bandar Tenggara Fire and Rescue Department station chief, reported that a rescue team of 12 firefighters, led by senior officer II Ibrahim Ishak, arrived at the scene at 8:08 am, around 20 km from the fire station.
Tragic Discovery: Victim Trapped Under the Vehicle
The victim, 24-year-old Muhammad Fareedzul Anuar, was trapped under the Proton Saga. Using specialized equipment, the firefighters recovered his body, which was subsequently handed over to the police for further action.
Other Drivers Escaped Injury
The drivers of the other vehicles were uninjured in the crash. The rescue operation was concluded by 9:30 am.
